Why now?
Uganda is currently at the crossroads of very serious political chaos and uncertainty. And we as stakeholders coming
together under the New Uganda Democratic Alliance are looking towards joining hands, minds and ideas in delivering
a new dawn, a new era, a new political dispensation, a new national civilian government with independent
institutions ably handling their roles & responsibilities in a peaceful and democratic governance environment and a
politically predictable future of Uganda, East Africa & the Great Lakes region.
How its to be done...
We are to peacefully work with, lobby & advocate among various public, private & civils society actors at local,
national, and international level for the restoration of Uganda's Civilian Democratic Political Processes. This is upon
observation that the last 40-50 years of bloody military rule have not solved Uganda’s political problems but instead
created more friction, divisions, civil war and strife, poor and endlessly wrong national prioritisation at the annual
budgeting & expenditure process of Uganda’s revenue on what is most urgently required as a nation verses what the
military establishment prefers to spend on.
Our Vision
A united, inspired & uplifted citizenry all working towards tangible growth & dev’t with a strong sense of
involvement and pride as Citizens of Uganda irrespective of their Tribe, Religion, Age, Gender, Color or Creed.
